As the previous article, the secret of companies that develop, are sustainable over time, and reach the global level is that they always consider the following things very important when starting a business:

Because they always value hiring consultants and advisors for them. If it is a small company or startup, they just pay a fee, the rest is converted into shares. So their businesses have a very low failure rate, and are getting stronger and stronger. In Vietnam, very few entrepreneurs take the above issue seriously. So they often face difficulties, even collapse, and the bigger they get, the more dangerous it is because of debt, even imprisonment. Because they underestimate the above values, or mistakenly think that in their group or company, they already have them, so they don’t need ISAI or RAMBON consultants or advisors anymore. Even individuals and groups, thought to have big political connections, lots of money like Ms. Truong My Lan of Van Thinh Phat Group (buying all 3 banks, and many central buildings in District 1, with real estate spread across the country…), or Mr. Quyet of FLC Group (a series of coastal resorts, real estate spread across the country, including large law firms, airlines…), or Mr. Dung of Tan Hoang Minh Group (with large factories, a series of gas stations, super luxury real estate across the country…)… Thinking they will be at ease, they end up in jail. There are many tycoons who, although not in prison, are involved in a series of problems that, even if the press does not report, are still extremely painful. Affecting their children, their families…
European and American corporations and Vietnamese companies that know how to hire different consultants such as ISAI and RAMBON, are becoming stronger and safer.
Their way of choosing consultants and advisors for businesses in developed countries is also very wise, they choose consulting organizations with very high practical experience. For example, at ISAI, a consultant requires at least 13 years of senior management for a European and American corporation with a history of several hundred years. Some investors also ask for advice on personal issues, development, mentoring for their children and grandchildren… They get used to living with consultants/advisors. And whatever they do, whatever they decide with whom, having more consultants/advisors will make them wiser. Advise them on how to run their company throughout its operation. Prevent and provide legal support for them. As well as buying back, investing in or ordering ISAI and RAMBON to research new business model projects.
Because they clearly see the importance of consulting/advising on strategy, governance, management, innovation, restructuring, coaching, mentoring, advising, financial consulting, in-depth accounting, cash flow, legal support… how important it is. Because just with a good strategy, after a few years, a large corporation can be created, avoiding risks.
And how far are they ahead of us internationally… But to change the conservative thinking of Vietnamese people is not something that can happen overnight.
